We have found water bottle parkas to be extrodinarily good for both keeping the backup Flolan cartridge cool during the day and for protecting and keeping cool our son's pump at night. With two ice packs, their insulation allows the extra Flolan cartridge to stay cool in the car all day. In addition, since the parkas are soft, he can confortably sleep with the container.image:parkas.jpg

The water bottle parkalink shows a variety of these containers. Our experience has been with the Outdoor Research 1 liter parkas, which will hold two ice packs and the Flolan pump. They are reasonably priced at $10 to $15.
