Reconstituted Flolan and pumps are typically maintained in a backback. These backback suffer from terrible manufacturing quality control issues. Flolan backpack ideas are here.

Flolan is delivered to the body by means of an infusion pump that delivers small quantitites throughout the day, "24/7" as the expression goes, getting into the body by means of a "central line," which can be any one of several catheters placed in the chest of the patient by an interventional radiologist. Because this involves the semi-permanent penetration of the chest wall, there is the need for constant attention and care of a dressing that maintains the sterility of this point of insertion.
